Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Lezhan Zackery Studivant and Michael Thomas White, and one detail that really stuck with me is the mention of witnesses recalling that Jason Thomas Cole was under the influence of drugs during the incident. It makes me wonder just how much that impacted his actions and judgment at the time. It's so unsettling to think that a life-altering decision could be influenced by something like that. What gets to me is how the mix of substances and poor decision-making can tear families apart, not to mention the ripple effect on the community as a whole. I can't imagine what Studivant’s and White’s families are going through, watching this unfold and hoping for a semblance of justice. It's just so important for the truth to come out fully during these proceedings. Would love to hear others' thoughts on how substance use is considered in these kinds of cases. Thanks for listening.
