I've been following the case of Christopher Calvin Mitchell, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this must have on the local community. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety that people in that area must feel knowing something like this happened so close to home. It's truly upsetting to think that an innocent man lost his life and that there might be others afraid to walk their own neighborhood. I hope the authorities are really diving into this and that those who know anything are coming forward. The families affected deserve justice and some sense of safety restored to their lives. If anyone in the community has some insight or ideas on what might help reduce this violence, I think we'd all benefit from hearing it. My thoughts are with Christopher’s loved ones and the woman who was hurt.
