I’ve been following Coretta's case closely and something that’s been on my mind is the safety of the kids. Losing their mom in such a traumatic way is unimaginable. I really hope they're in a supportive environment now and receiving the counseling they need. It’s alarming that domestic violence remains such a pervasive issue. Strength to Victoria Bain and the whole family for stepping up during such a difficult time—raising awareness and seeking justice can’t be easy while processing such a personal tragedy. We need more community resources in place to prevent situations like this from escalating.
