Does anyone else feel like this tragedy underscores the urgent need for better education on gun safety? I'm absolutely devastated for Demetrius' family, especially his mom, Sanevia. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. ? It's terrifying to think how easily something so preventable can lead to such heartbreak. I've been reading up on the case a bit, and it seems like a failure of responsibility that there was a loaded gun accessible in a home where a child was present. It makes me wonder how we can better enforce safe storage laws and educate people on the real dangers of leaving guns unsecured. This should never happen to any family. It’s clear that more needs to be done to ensure gun owners understand the weight of their responsibility, especially when kids are involved.
