William Jody Hughes was 19 and from Olga, Florida when he was fatally shot on November 17, 2018. He and 16-year-old Jeremy Stewart were confronted in the early morning by Elwood Timothy Robinson, who witnesses said identified himself as a police officer before opening fire. Both teens were killed; a female bystander was wounded but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

Robinson was identified as the primary suspect and taken into custody shortly after the shootings. He was charged with two counts of second-degree murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and impersonating an officer. Witness testimony at trial described how Robinson shot Hughes and Stewart, and the prosecution’s case led to Robinson’s conviction and later sentencing to life in prison.

If anyone knew William’s routines, who he was with that night, or saw anything in Olga around November 17, 2018, please share what you know.
