I wanted to talk about Peter Wang's incredible act of courage during the Parkland shooting. I just can’t help but feel so deeply moved by his selflessness. Picture this: in the face of terrifying chaos, this young man stood there, holding the door so others could escape. That speaks volumes about his character and the kind of person he was. I also found it touching that West Point posthumously admitted Peter. That was his dream, and it says so much about his commitment and potential. It's a small comfort but a powerful acknowledgment of his bravery and aspirations. It's truly poignant to see such heroism recognized in this way, although in a manner none of us would have wished. My thoughts are with his family and friends. It’s clear Peter was a remarkable individual, and I hope his story continues to inspire change so that no one else has to make such a sacrifice again. Sometimes it takes a tragedy for the world to recognize the bright light in a person, and Peter’s light shone brightly, even in death.
