Wyatt Ballard Hall, 15, of Myakka City, Florida, died on February 8, 2018 after an accidental shooting at about 9 p.m. near his home on Albritton Road, near Clay Gully Road. His parents, Earl and Tiffany Hall, heard the gunshot and found him inside; despite immediate medical attention he died of his injuries.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office ruled the death accidental, found no foul play, and closed the investigation without charges or arrests. The Manatee County School District reported Wyatt was not enrolled in school at the time. Wyatt’s family and community were left to grieve this tragic loss.
