Juanita Donna Solorzano, 33, of Ruskin, Florida, was found dead on January 24, 2018, inside a home at 2611 14th Avenue SE. She and 24-year-old Alexis Martinez were both discovered with fatal gunshot wounds; the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office classified the incident as a double homicide. Solorzano was pregnant at the time of her death.
Authorities identified 38-year-old McKinsie Alexander Lyons (also known as McKinsie Sharp) as a suspect and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder, the murder of an unborn child, burglary, and possession of a firearm by a felon. A second person, 32-year-old Samona Louise Ramey, was also charged with first-degree felony murder and was denied bond. Investigators described the killings as not random and said a possible motive has been identified, though details have not been released.
Anyone with information about what happened at the home on 14th Avenue SE is asked to contact the investigators handling the case.
