Seventeen-year-old Bryce A. Williams of Casselberry, Florida, was fatally shot on January 1, 2018, at Lake Hodge Park on Osceola Trail. Born April 18, 2000, Bryce was a student; his death devastated his family, including his mother Melanie R. Tucker, his grandmother Kimberly Crow, and his great-grandfather Von Sanders. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Casselberry where family and friends gathered.
The shooting on New Year’s Day shocked the local community. Two years later, in March 2020, authorities arrested 20-year-old Antwann Ricks and charged him with felony homicide, armed burglary to a conveyance, and assault with intent to commit a felony. The family publicly expressed relief at the arrest after a long wait for answers.
If anyone has information about Bryce, his activities that day, or the events at Lake Hodge Park, please come forward.
