I was thinking a lot today about Carolyn Powell, Eric's mom. It must be incredibly difficult for her to navigate life without her son. Holidays, birthdays, or even just everyday moments — it must feel like there's always a piece missing. I can’t begin to imagine the kind of strength it takes to keep pushing forward in the face of such a profound loss. Hearing about this person of interest being released from federal prison just stirs up all the emotions again. I wish there were more answers for her and for the entire family. The waiting and not knowing must be exhausting. I truly hope they get some closure soon, and that the community steps up with any information that might help. It's a small gesture, but maybe sharing the Crime Stoppers info again could jog someone’s memory. Let's not forget Eric and Samuel, and let's keep spreading the word. Every bit helps in keeping the pressure on for justice.
