I'm really troubled by the details surrounding the 911 call in the Billy Lee Wilkerson case. From what I understand, when the police arrived at the apartment, Bernard Gay was still alive and on the porch. I'm curious if there were any recordings of that initial call or the officers' body cam footage that captured any critical moments. It feels like such an important piece in understanding what truly happened during those final moments. I can't imagine the heartbreak Bernard's family feels knowing he was so close to receiving help. It's just so hard to comprehend how quickly things escalated, and it makes one wonder if things could have been different with a quicker response or clearer understanding of the situation from the authorities. Keeping Bernard and his loved ones in my thoughts.
