Michael Wegrzyn, 63, of Chardon, Ohio, was last seen by family on April 4, 2017, when he left Ohio bound for Marathon, Florida. His final contact with family that day was a phone call in which he said he was in Florida. He was reportedly living a transient lifestyle in the Marathon area, believed to be staying in a tent in the Boot Key area and spending time on a deteriorating boat near Sisters Creek that was beginning to sink.

Wegrzyn’s 2001 Nissan Maxima was later found abandoned in a Publix parking lot in Marathon, which raised concerns about his whereabouts. Investigations involving both Ohio and Florida authorities have not determined what happened to him after April 4; foul play has not been ruled out. The case is classified as endangered missing and remains unsolved despite searches and updates.

Does anyone who was in Marathon or the Boot Key area around early April 2017 remember seeing Michael, his car, tent, or the boat near Sisters Creek?
