Has anyone else been wondering about the role of the nightclub's security that night? It's puzzling to me that an argument that started inside Excell was able to escalate to such a tragic level outside. I can't help but think about how security might have intervened earlier to de-escalate the situation before it got out of hand. Given that both groups were ejected, it seems like there was a clear recognition of tension. But was there any effort to diffuse it in the parking lot, or did things just spiral out too quickly? My heart goes out to Niherson's family—they deserve answers and for justice to be served. The whole situation seems like it might have been preventable if things had been handled differently early on. Does anyone have more info on what the security team did or didn’t do that night?
I came across this case while reading about unsolved crimes, and I can't stop thinking about the strange details surrounding the arrest of Kalicia Bertrand. It seems odd that someone so closely connected to the victim would be involved in a crime shortly after his death. Was there more going on behind the scenes than we know? I feel for Niherson's family who must be struggling with both the loss of their loved one and the confusing web of events following his death. It’s so frustrating when justice feels out of reach. Has anyone heard more about Bertrand's role or anything new in the investigation? Hoping for some answers or updates to help make sense of this tragedy.
I can't stop thinking about the role of bystanders in the tragic case of Niherson David Gustave. It's so unsettling to know how many people were likely at the scene, inside and outside the Excell nightclub, yet the investigation seems to have stalled with only Kalicia Bertrand's arrest. I wonder why more witnesses haven’t come forward. Fear? Loyalty to the involved parties? It's a painful reminder of how crucial eyewitness testimony can be in these situations. I can’t imagine the frustration and sorrow Gustave's family must be feeling, waiting for justice and clarity. I hope people find the courage to speak up—not just for Niherson, but for his family who deserve answers and peace. If anyone has thoughts on this or knows of similar cases where witness hesitance was a factor, it would be insightful to discuss how these challenges can be overcome.
