Andre Hunt, 28, was fatally shot in broad daylight on April 29, 2015, in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue in Baltimore. A barber and volunteer who counseled youth at the local NAACP chapter and the Boys and Girls Club, Hunt was lured out of the Cut Masters Barber Shop and shot in the back of the head. He was ten days away from beginning a three-year federal prison sentence on a heroin distribution charge when he was killed.

Baltimore police released surveillance footage showing two men fleeing the scene and identified them as suspects, and a cash reward was offered for tips leading to an indictment. Despite that video evidence and appeals for information, no arrests have been announced and the case remains unsolved. His sister Lauren Dotson and other family members continue to seek answers.
