Has anyone else been thinking about the young ones who witnessed this tragedy? My heart really goes out to all the children, parents, and community members who were present at the game. It's unimaginable to think what it must have been like for those kids who were out there just trying to enjoy their day. Not only did they lose a coach and mentor in Jordan, but they also witnessed something that nobody, let alone a child, should ever have to see. Trauma at that age can be deeply impactful, and I'm sure parents are concerned about how this will affect their kids in the long run. It really seems like the community needs to rally around these families – both those who lost loved ones and those who have to process what they saw. Does anyone know if there's been any support offered to help these children cope?

I can't stop thinking about how senseless and devastating Jonathan's murder is, especially since it happened at a place where families and kids gather for a positive purpose. My heart goes out to his son and all those kids who were there to see their coach cheering them on. It's unimaginable how this evening shifted from joy and excitement to chaos. It's so frustrating that no suspects have come forward yet. I really hope anyone who might have seen something, no matter how small, comes forward soon to help Jonathan's family get the closure they deserve. He was more than just a musician; he was a coach and a father who wanted to uplift his community. We owe it to him and his family to make sure this isn't forgotten. Let’s keep sharing and talking until justice is finally served.

Has anyone else been reflecting on the safety measures, or lack thereof, at community events like the one where J. Green was tragically killed? It’s so devastating to think that an event organized for kids and families could turn into such a nightmare. There were so many people there, including kids, and it’s shocking to think how a single act of violence can change everything in the blink of an eye. I’ve been thinking about how this incident could have been different if there were more security measures in place. Maybe additional security personnel or some kind of strategy to ensure these gatherings are protected. I know nothing can bring Jonathan back, but if we can learn anything from this horrendous loss, perhaps it’s about increasing safety in our community events to prevent future tragedies. It’s a heavy reminder of how precious life is, and my heart goes out to his son and all those who cared about Jonathan. How is everyone else feeling about this?
