Adam Hilarie, 27, of Auburndale, Florida, was killed on August 19, 2016, in what investigators say was a premeditated robbery that turned fatal. He met 18-year-old Hailey Rose Bustos on the dating site PlentyOfFish; after an initial date, Bustos returned to Adam’s apartment the next night accompanied by three men identified as Andre Maurice Warner, 26, Gary Terrell Gray, 31, and Joshua Ellington, 26. Prosecutors say the group had identified valuables during the earlier visit and intended to rob him. When Adam answered the door the second night he was overpowered, shot in the head and left to die on his kitchen floor despite pleading for his life.

All four suspects were arrested and charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon; Bustos and Ellington were also charged with violating probation. Family and friends held a candlelight vigil and the community rallied around Adam’s five-year-old daughter, Lajaya.

Does anyone have information about Adam, his routines, or that August 2016 timeframe that could help fill gaps in the timeline?
