I just can't stop thinking about the community gathering they held at the park in honor of Bered Pierre. It really shows how deeply loved and respected he was by everyone who knew him. I heard that many of the kids he coached in Pee Wee Basketball came out to pay tribute, sharing memories of his joyful spirit and dedication. It's clear he left an indelible mark on their lives. I'm hoping this event helps the community come together to push for more information on the shooter. Maybe someone will remember a crucial detail after hearing others speak. Such a senseless act, but seeing everyone united in support is incredibly moving. Bered deserved so much better, and my heart goes out to his family navigating through this tragedy.
Hey everyone,
I was reading about the tragic case of Bered "Ben" Pierre, and what caught my attention was the surveillance footage that the police released. It's disturbing to think someone could be so callous, opening fire in a public space without any regard for innocent lives. I can't help but feel for Ben's wife and kids, especially knowing she works in law enforcement herself. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for her, both as a professional and a widow, waiting for justice for her husband.
Does anyone in the community know if there's been any recent development or maybe someone recognized that person from the surveillance photos? It's hard to think that somebody out there knows something and hasn't come forward yet. I honestly hope the shooter is apprehended soon, not only for Ben's family but for the peace of mind of the entire community. His story really puts into perspective how precious life is and how senseless acts can change everything in a heartbeat.
Stay safe, everyone, and let’s keep Ben's family in our thoughts. Hopefully, there's a breakthrough soon.
