Junior Paul King, a 66-year-old white man from Sneads, Florida, was found dead at his Pope Street home on April 20, 2016. A disabled US Marine Corps veteran who had lived in Jackson County for more than 40 years, King was discovered on a bed and later determined to have been shot to death; authorities classified the case as a homicide and opened a murder investigation.
Two of King’s roommates were arrested on unrelated drug charges during the inquiry, which prompted closer scrutiny of their possible links to the killing, but investigators did not announce any direct evidence tying them to the homicide. Local and state law enforcement agencies remained involved as the probe continued.
Does anyone who knew King or who lived near Pope Street in Sneads in 2016 have information that could help investigators?
