I've been thinking about the role of the GPS ankle monitor in Christal Anderson's case. It's chilling to realize that even with such technology, there are still ways for things to go terribly wrong. The monitor was supposed to ensure her safety, but Michael Brown's tampering shows how systems designed to protect can sometimes be circumvented. I can't imagine the fear Christal must have felt during those final moments, and my heart goes out to her loved ones, especially her child. It raises questions about how we can improve these systems and prevent such tragedies from happening in the future. What are your thoughts? How can we make these monitoring systems more foolproof?
