Renaldo Rashad Clayton, 32, was found shot to death inside his Florida City home on October 19, 2015. Known to family and friends as Ziggy, he worked for the City of Florida City in the Parks and Recreation department. Police discovered him at his residence at 1635 Northwest First Avenue just after 9:30 p.m.; his fiancée and their three-year-old son were not at home.

Family members described Clayton as a good family man. His brother Derrick Clayton said the attackers appeared to have followed Renaldo into the house, raising the possibility he was specifically targeted. Authorities have investigated the killing but have not publicly identified suspects or made arrests, and the motive remains unclear.
