Louis Wayne Lunceford, 44, was shot and killed on February 9, 2015, in New Port Richey, Florida. He was one of three men found dead inside a Moon Lake community home; the other two victims were Shane Newland, 42, and Justin Huckeby, 25. A fourth person, an unidentified woman, was also shot but survived and was expected to recover.
Pasco County deputies responded after reports of gunfire. Investigators identified Christopher Lee Duncan and Dora Delgado as suspects; the couple were located and arrested in Jacksonville a few days after the killings and charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Authorities indicated the slayings may have been drug-related and possibly a targeted hit. Duncan and Delgado reportedly gave little information to investigators.
The shootings shocked the Moon Lake community and prompted a multiagency response.
