Does anyone else find it incredibly chilling how Michael Gordon's violent past came to light during the trial? It's shocking to think someone with previous convictions for a prison stabbing and a shooting could go on to do something as horrendous as what happened to Patricia Moran and Deborah Royal. My heart goes out to their family; it must have been so difficult to learn about Gordon's history and then endure such a tragic loss because of his actions. Justice was served with the death penalty, but it never seems to fill the void left by such a senseless act. I hope Patricia and Deborah's family find some comfort in the community's support and the memories of how cherished both women were. What a devastating impact one person's violence can have on so many lives.
