Steven Matthew Jackson Jr., 26, was found mortally wounded inside a vehicle on Virginia Avenue in Rockledge, Florida, on December 29, 2014. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local medical facility, where he died shortly after arrival. The Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
Jackson was shot about 16 times at close range but was able to identify his attacker before he died. That identification helped investigators focus on 41-year-old Rockledge resident Ricky Adams Glasco. Glasco was arrested on January 1, 2015, at his Canterbury Lane residence by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office GAMEOVER Task Force and charged with first-degree premeditated murder, robbery with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A Brevard County grand jury returned a first-degree murder indictment and the additional charges.
The Homicide and Crime Scene Units, plus deputies who applied first aid, were credited with actions that aided the investigation. Does anyone have information about Jackson’s movements or contacts in Rockledge in late December 2014?
