Rashid Keblawe, a 40-year-old owner of Seven Stars Beer Depot at 13101 N.W. 27 Avenue, was killed on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2014, inside his Miami-Dade store. Surveillance footage shows two men entering the shop, seeming to browse; while Keblawe bagged their purchases one of them shot him. The pair then vaulted the counter, continued shooting and pistol-whipping him, and fired additional shots while he was unresponsive before fleeing in an older model Buick with tinted windows.

Police described the slaying as a targeted hit possibly tied to a business dispute. Detectives released images and a later facial rendering of a suspect; the two perpetrators were described as thin black males in light hooded sweatshirts and dark pants. No arrests have been announced and the case remains unsolved. If anyone knew Rashid, witnessed the attack, or has information about the suspects or that Buick, please come forward.
