Paul Trossevin, 48, of Lake Asbury, Florida, was shot to death on the front steps of his home on November 7, 2014, after a confrontation with his business partner, Arthur Grossie. The altercation reportedly began with a phone argument over a business dispute; Grossie arrived at Trossevin’s house and the disagreement continued at the front door. Trossevin’s wife and 21-year-old daughter were inside when the shooting occurred — the wife heard a gunshot and two more shots, then found her husband on the steps and Grossie on the ground having turned the gun on himself.
Grossie survived a self-inflicted wound and was airlifted to UF Health for treatment and was expected to recover. Police say the motive was the business dispute, and Grossie was charged with first-degree murder. Neighbors described shock and sorrow, and the community organized support for the family, including a GoFundMe. Does anyone have information about the business relationship between Trossevin and Grossie or saw them in the neighborhood around November 7, 2014?
