I’ve been reading about the tragic murder of Isaac Grace, and one aspect that really stuck with me is the involvement of Amber Ward's online persona, "Chocolate Bunny." It’s chilling how the digital trail played such a critical role in the case. The link between her escort ad and her real-life identity shows how technology can both aid in finding justice and highlight the complexity of the world's underbelly. It’s terrifying to think about how many people might be living double lives, with a facade that hides dangerous intentions. My heart goes out to Isaac’s family and friends who are left grappling with a senseless loss. This case brings up so many questions about how we protect individuals from falling into harmful situations through online platforms.
