I keep thinking about the two little boys, Eric and Joshua, who were taken from this world far too early. They were about to celebrate their seventh birthday when this senseless tragedy occurred, and it's simply devastating to imagine the joy and excitement that should have filled their home that day. As a mother myself, it breaks my heart to think about the lives they could have had. I can't help but wonder if there were any warning signs or moments where someone could have stepped in to change the course of events. My thoughts go out to anyone who knew and loved these children—it must be incredibly difficult to reconcile the loss with the memories of happier times.

I've been following the Jacobson case closely, and something that's been on my mind is the immense impact this must have had on Franki's friends and family. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're experiencing, losing not just Franki but also Eric and Joshua in such an unimaginable way. It really sheds light on how mental health issues don't just affect the individual suffering but have devastating consequences for families and communities, too. What's really frustrating is that it seems like warning signs were there. Several people noted changes in Neal's behavior before the incident, and yet, tragedy wasn't averted. I'm not sure if there was anything that could have been done differently, but it makes me think about the importance of mental health education and awareness. People around us might be going through severe struggles silently, and sometimes, the outcomes are just devastating if those struggles remain unchecked. Sending love and strength to anyone affected by this tragedy. This case should remind us all to check in on our loved ones and take mental health seriously.
