Mykel-General Devon Price, Sr., was 31 when he was shot on the 500 block of Winwood Place in Savannah, Georgia, late in the afternoon of November 22, 2022. Police found Price and 27-year-old Xavier Johnson about 4:15 p.m.; both were taken to a hospital, and Price later died of his wounds while Johnson’s injuries were reported as not life-threatening.

Investigators identified three suspects. Malik Johnta Grant, 27, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Winston Salem, North Carolina, on December 13, 2022, and charged as a party to a crime with murder and aggravated assault. His brother, 21-year-old Marquis Sammuel Grant, was arrested in Pooler, Georgia, on January 10, 2023, on the same party-to-a-crime charges. A third suspect, 22-year-old Mikell Justin Sanders, was arrested in Savannah on February 6, 2023, and charged with murder and aggravated assault. Malik and Marquis Grant accepted plea deals to cooperate and were sentenced to probation; Sanders’ trial was set to begin with jury selection in February 2026.

Price was a father to a son and a daughter. Does anyone who knew Mykel or who was in that neighborhood on November 22, 2022, have information that could help fill gaps in the timeline?
