Anyone else find it odd that Stephanie's alias, Stephany Garcia Valdez, seems like a totally different person? It’s curious how it closely resembles her real name but still sounds distinct. Could it be tied to a second life she was trying to live, or maybe a character she created for safety reasons? If she did it to stay under the radar, then how many people knew her by this alias? I wonder if there were places where she went by Stephan(y) where people had no idea she was actually Stephanie. Anyone else have thoughts on why someone might choose such a similar, yet slightly different alias?

Has anyone else read about the one witness who thought they saw Stephanie near the bus station the day she disappeared? I remember this was mentioned early on, but I haven't seen any updates. It seemed like such a promising lead, especially with her potentially using that alias. The whole thing is just so strange. Why would she use a different name?
