Quintavious Jones, 24, was shot and killed after a house party on Oakville Trail in Hampton, Georgia, on August 7, 2022. The shooting happened at about 3 a.m.; another person was wounded. Family members say Jones went to the party with his sisters and ran toward a fight to protect them when an unidentified person opened fire, striking him in the back. He was taken to a local hospital and later died.

Described by his mother as a good, loving person with an infectious smile, Quintavious (known as Tay) was a Morrow High School graduate and a father to a three-year-old son. Clayton County police investigated the double shooting and asked the public for information. In the days after the incident no suspects had been publicly identified and no arrests announced.

If anyone who attended that party or was in the Oakville Trail area that morning has information, can you share what you know with investigators?
