Najee Kabir Holden was 23 and from Waynesboro, Georgia when he was shot and killed on January 7, 2022. Early accounts and memorial notices placed the shooting at 1158 Herman Lodge Boulevard in Burke County.

Later reporting from WRDW/WAGT named a suspect, saying Daymond Lamont Langford was arrested and that the arrest was reflected in jail bookings.
