A triple homicide in rural southwest Georgia left three people dead in October 2021. Nineteen-year-old Joshua Brown and 54-year-old John Baisden Sr. were found shot to death at a residence in the Terrell County community of Bronwood on a Monday in October 2021. Later the same day, about 15 miles away in Dawson, 57-year-old Ida Mae Johnson was found shot at her home and died at the scene. Investigators determined the three killings were linked.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified 54-year-old Larry Eugene Calloway of Parrot as the suspect and said he was in a relationship with a relative of the victims. After the shootings Calloway fled, crashed the vehicle he was driving, and was taken to a hospital after allegedly ingesting pills. He was charged with three counts of felony murder in connection with the deaths of Joshua Brown, John Baisden Sr. and Ida Mae Johnson.
If anyone knew Joshua or has information about the events in Bronwood or Dawson that October day, please come forward.
