On October 9, 2021, 32-year-old Cameron Bell Palmer was found dead on the bedroom floor of a home on Sweetbriar Lane in Forest Park, Georgia, suffering multiple gunshot and stab wounds. Investigators say the fatal encounter followed a heated argument between Palmer and his girlfriend, 31-year-old Jalessia A. Brown. Brown fled before police arrived but was located and taken into custody the next day. During questioning by Clayton County detectives she admitted to killing her boyfriend. She was charged with felony murder and aggravated assault and held without bond.
