Late on the night of October 8, 2021, 26-year-old Jeremy Beebee was found dead in the driver’s seat of his vehicle on Grier Street in Macon, Georgia. The car had struck a utility pole, but investigators determined the fatal injuries were from multiple gunshot wounds; the vehicle itself had been struck many times.
The shooting was part of a larger incident that also left 21-year-old Aquanis Howard dead; Howard was taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds and later died there. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office opened a joint investigation into the double homicide and sought information from the public.
Jeremy’s family, especially his mother, has continued to grieve and push for answers. No suspects or arrests have been publicly identified and the investigation remains open.
Anyone with information about either shooting is asked to come forward.
