On May 20, 2021, Senior Airman Miykel Blackburn, 22, and 22-year-old Trevia Ways were found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a gray Infiniti sedan parked in the driveway of a residence on Bruce Road SW in Conyers, Georgia. The homeowner discovered the vehicle while going to retrieve his mail. Blackburn had served three years in the United States Air Force and left behind a fiancée and a newborn who was three weeks old at the time.

Nearly a week after the discovery, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Javon Price of Covington; he was charged with two counts of murder in connection with the deaths. Authorities did not immediately release a motive or describe any relationship between the suspect and the victims, and the investigation was said to be ongoing.

Did anyone in the Conyers area know Blackburn or Ways or have information that could help investigators?
