On the night of July 12, 2020, Travis Latrail Plummer, 34, was fatally shot at the Friendly Gus gas station on Central Drive in East Dublin, Georgia. The shooting occurred about 2:15 a.m. while officers were attempting to clear a large crowd in the parking lot; Plummer was pronounced dead at Fairview Park Hospital around 2:45 a.m. He was a father of two and worked for the Pepsi-Cola Company.

Investigators linked the killing to gang-related violence and identified the Money Power Loyalty gang as involved. Reports say an argument in the crowded lot escalated to gunfire; Plummer, who had been sitting in his cousin’s car, was struck while trying to flee. East Dublin’s police chief described Plummer as a fine man from a wonderful family who was not bothering anyone at the time.

Three men were arrested in connection with the murder as part of a wider indictment against members of the gang. What additional information about that night or about Travis’s movements before the shooting can anyone share?
