Rondarius Radahn Williams, 31, of Camilla, Georgia, was shot multiple times in the Tyson Foods plant parking lot in the late afternoon of June 2, 2020. The shooting occurred at about 3:55 p.m. as Williams was leaving work; he was taken to Mitchell County Hospital and pronounced dead in the emergency room.
The Camilla Police Department, with help from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, named 25-year-old Antwan Dominic Shivers of Cairo as the suspect. Shivers fled the scene but was later taken into custody by the Thomasville Police Department and held in the Mitchell County Jail. He was charged on June 3, 2020, with malice murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. In April 2023 a jury found Shivers guilty and he received life plus five years with no possibility of parole for Williams’s murder.
If anyone knew Rondarius Williams, worked with him at the plant, or has information about the shooting, please share what you remember.
