On the afternoon of January 30, 2020, the body of 24-year-old Voiese Pinn was found under a pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts at Pembrooke Park in McDonough, Georgia. A resident walking a dog discovered Pinn; he had multiple gunshot wounds. Henry County investigators released a doorbell-camera image of a man in a hoodie as a person of interest, and that individual was identified as 27-year-old Princeton Mitchell-Johnson, who lived in the same subdivision and was described as Pinn’s best friend.
During that meeting, Mitchell-Johnson allegedly produced a .38 revolver and fired three times, striking Pinn once in the head and twice in the side; investigators later stated any of the shots would have been fatal. A search of Mitchell-Johnson’s home reportedly turned up the revolver in his bedroom, and ballistics testing linked bullets from the scene and Pinn’s body to that weapon.
Does anyone in Pembrooke Park or McDonough have information about Pinn, his movements that night, or why two friends would meet at the pavilion?
