Antwion Williams was 18 and a senior at Westside High School when he was found shot to death on November 24, 2019. Deputies in Bibb County discovered his body face down in a wooded area visible from Cresthill Avenue in the Belle Vue neighborhood in the predawn hours of that Sunday; he had multiple gunshot wounds to his head and back. His death was recorded as Macon’s 24th homicide of the year and the city’s first teenage homicide victim in 2019.
Friends and members of a local street ministry remembered Williams as lovable and sweet and noted his passion for making beats and rapping; he was preparing for Thanksgiving break and had plans to pursue music. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office opened a homicide investigation and processed the scene on Cresthill Avenue. In the days after the discovery, no suspects had been publicly identified and no arrests were reported.
If anyone knew Antwion, his routines, or saw activity near Cresthill Avenue that morning, what can be shared with investigators?
