On the afternoon of July 10, 2019, 20-year-old Randon Shamar Hogan of Macon was shot in the chest at the Shell Gas Station at 3750 Mercer University Drive. He was taken to Navicent Health and pronounced dead shortly after arriving at about 3:00 p.m. The slaying was recorded as the 12th homicide in Macon that year.
Investigators focused on 19-year-old Bradford Devonte Anderson of Macon as the suspect. A murder warrant was issued and authorities said Anderson was last seen driving a dark-colored Honda Accord. After a public appeal, Anderson turned himself in on July 15, 2019, and was taken into custody on a murder charge in connection with Hogan’s death.
Are there witnesses who were at the gas station that afternoon or anyone with information about what led to the shooting?
