Desiyunna Hill, an 18-year-old rising senior at Valdosta High School, was fatally shot on June 22, 2019, at a large party on North Lee Street in Valdosta, Georgia. The event, attended by hundreds of teenagers, was reportedly wrapping up when gunfire erupted and Hill was struck. She was taken to South Georgia Medical Center, where she later died.
