Billy Belle was 52 when coworkers went to his Harter Avenue home in Valdosta, Georgia after he failed to show up for work at Griffin Concrete. On May 20, 2019 they found him deceased inside his residence from a fatal gunshot wound. Law enforcement determined his death to be a homicide; he had last been seen alive around noon on the Saturday before his body was discovered.

Investigators conducted numerous witness interviews and examined physical and digital evidence. In August 2019 the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people, Dashay March and Whitlee Seagram, and charged both with murder. In January 2022 Dashay Antwan March pleaded to voluntary manslaughter and received a 15-year prison sentence, with credit for time already served; firearms and kidnapping counts were not prosecuted as part of the plea. At the time of that sentence March was also facing an unrelated murder charge in another county.

Does anyone have information about Belle’s last known movements or who might have seen him on that Saturday?
