Late on the night of May 4, 2019, gunfire was reported at the Prescott Apartments on Centerview Drive in Duluth, Georgia. Officers arriving about 11:15 p.m. found two young men in a wooded area behind the complex with gunshot wounds. Seventeen-year-old Matthew-Evan Graham of Duluth had a shoulder wound; 20-year-old Nicolai Manget of Loganville suffered a life-threatening chest wound and died the next day, May 5, 2019.
Investigators recovered a key to a white Mercedes at the scene; that vehicle was later determined to have been stolen. Four days after the shooting, police returned to the apartments for another shooting and found an apartment with several bullet holes. The resident of that unit was identified as 28-year-old Richie Milord of Duluth. Authorities later linked Milord and the surviving victim, Graham, to Manget’s shooting, and alleged Milord was the gunman. Graham was also charged with theft by receiving stolen property in connection with the Mercedes and was arrested on May 13 during a traffic stop. Milord was arrested July 12 during a traffic stop and booked on murder, aggravated assault, and firearm charges; officials have suggested the shooting may have been gang-related.
Did anyone in the area know Manget, Graham, or Milord, or have information about events at the Prescott Apartments that night?
