Quaniqwa Lee, 22, was shot twice in the head while sitting in a car in the Sam’s Club parking lot in Pooler, Georgia, on February 23, 2019. She died of her wounds the next day at a local hospital with family at her side. Investigators describe the shooting as targeted.

Police say the events followed an earlier attack two days before, on February 21, when two cousins, Deandra Mims, 24, and Cierra Mims, 25, allegedly went to a home on Burnt Tree Drive looking for Lee. When she was not there, the cousins are accused of firing into the residence and seriously wounding a 10-year-old girl; the child’s injuries were reported as serious but not life-threatening.

After the Sam’s Club shooting the cousins reportedly fled, leading to a high-speed chase through Chatham County. On February 28, 2019, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Deandra and Cierra Mims in Riverdale; they were held in Clayton County pending extradition to Chatham County and were to be held without bond.

If anyone knew Quaniqwa, the Mims cousins, or has information about either incident, can you help investigators?
