Willian Tunchez, 21, was last seen by family on the evening of October 7, 2018, after dropping a sibling off in Lawrenceville. He planned to visit another relative but never arrived; his father reported him missing the next day. On October 8 a group of children found Tunchez’s body on a walking trail behind a home on Northcliff Drive in Suwanee. His car was parked a short distance away. An autopsy confirmed a fatal gunshot wound and the death was ruled a homicide, with investigators believing the killing occurred the evening of October 7.
Investigators identified three teenage suspects: 17-year-old Franecha Torres, 17-year-old Nicholas Evans, and 18-year-old Khalil Miller. Warrants allege Torres lured Tunchez to the location where Evans shot him, and that Torres stole Tunchez’s phone and other belongings afterward. Authorities tied the three to a string of armed robberies in the Suwanee area. All three were arrested and charged with felony murder; Torres faced three counts of armed robbery, while Evans and Miller faced two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault each.
Did anyone in Suwanee see Tunchez the evening of October 7 or notice suspicious activity near Northcliff Drive?
