Ladell Williams, 33, was shot at least twice on Tunis Road in Stockbridge, Georgia, on June 15, 2018, and died after being taken by private vehicle to a local hospital. Henry County investigators identified 29-year-old Lonnie Dee Reed as the primary suspect and said the two men were acquaintances. Authorities reported the shooting followed an argument between them.

Reed was at large for about two weeks and was described as armed and dangerous; his grandmother told police she intended to turn him in. On June 29, 2018, Lonnie Reed surrendered to authorities and was arrested on multiple charges including murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. If anyone knew Ladell Williams, his movements that day, or has information about the argument on Tunis Road, please come forward.
