Parmjit Singh, 44, was shot and killed on the evening of February 6, 2018, while working at the Hi-Tech Quick Stop on Burnett Ferry Road in Rome, Georgia. The Floyd County coroner pronounced Singh dead at the scene.
The same gunman reportedly went on to rob a second store, Elm Street Food and Beverage, where the clerk, Parthey Patel, was shot and left in critical condition. Police arrested a suspect during a traffic stop and recovered a handgun and a large sum of cash in the vehicle. The victim was a longtime convenience store owner who had moved to Rome to be closer to family, owned two stores, and was a father of two high school students.
Does anyone in the community remember seeing Singh that evening or have information about the stores or the suspect’s vehicle?
