Tyler Ty Koen, 20, was killed after gunfire erupted during a homecoming party on Hunter Road in Powder Springs, Georgia, on November 26, 2017. Reports say an argument at the gathering escalated and multiple people fired into the crowd. Koen, described as an African American male who was working toward a GED and hoped to join the U.S. Marine Corps, was struck by several bullets while attempting to flee, made it to a car, was shot again, and died at the scene.

In the weeks after the shooting three men were arrested and later indicted on malice murder and felony murder charges: 19-year-old Austin James Postell of Paulding County, plus James Hunter Reynal and Adam Maurice Summers. Postell was held without bond; all three were in the Cobb County Jail awaiting further proceedings. Investigators said others may have been involved.

If anyone attended that party or has information about who fired into the crowd, please come forward.
