On the morning of Tuesday, June 27, 2017, the bodies of two young men were found in rural Pulaski County, Georgia. Robdreckious Jamal Quainton, 23, of Warner Robins was discovered by the side of a dirt road near the intersection of Woods Road and Sandridge Road, his life ended by multiple gunshot wounds. Nearby in a pond lay 22-year-old Kelvin Jurand Thompson of Forsyth, also killed in the same violent encounter.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office described the incident as a drug deal gone wrong. A joint investigation with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified Dennis Sharod Penix, 24, of Eastman, as a person of interest; investigators say he had been seen with Quainton and Thompson the night of the killings. Penix was arrested after a relative alerted police when he appeared in Macon and was charged with two counts of malice murder.

In November 2021, while still awaiting trial, Penix escaped from the Pulaski County jail along with four other inmates after an attack on a jailer and flight in her vehicle, triggering a multiagency manhunt. Does anyone have information about Quainton, Thompson, or their activities in Pulaski County around June 2017?
