James A. Robinson II, 34, was shot and killed on the afternoon of May 29, 2017, at a residence on the 4200 block of Deans Bridge Road in Hephzibah, Georgia. Deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office found Robinson with at least one gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation led to the arrest of four people who were charged in connection with the killing. James Leroy Dandy Jr., 34, of Graniteville, South Carolina, and Corie Raekwon Simpson, 21, of Augusta, were each charged with murder, being convicted felons in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Kevin Lee Stewart, 34, of Sardis, Georgia, and 17-year-old Kyle Christopher Simpson of Augusta were charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. All four were committed to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

Did anyone in the area witness activity at the Deans Bridge Road residence that afternoon or have information about the shooting?
